Hi,i have a 2000 ford mustang v6, and i want to make some changesin this car, i want to make it lower first and then start working on theengine. But i want to know,if i want to put a new pair of lowering springsi need to change the entire suspension system? (i mean struts and all the other things)Thanks for the help
I particularly doubt you prefer to flow through the worry of attempting to do a conversion. the sturdy axle is actual extra suited for turns than self sufficient. impressive yet it really is why all truly severe performance vehicles use the rear sturdy axle. look on the Viper and Corvette and Charger, Challenger, Camaro even. no longer truly some thing extra suited than a sturdy axle in any problem consisting of slightly means. one component you should attempt is basically getting new severe performance shocks and springs and reducing the vehicle .5 inches. That'll likely fix what you arent liking. although, you probably did not specify the position precisely you discovered a difficulty.
No you dont need to change the struts with the springs, althought for high mileage cars its smart since you have already done 90% of the work. Otherwise no its never required until the struts show signs of wear.
Nope, that's why the lowering kit comes with just springs ;)
