Question:

Full width axles swap?

I have a 1965 international scout that I want to do a full width axles swap on, I was thinking of going with a Dana 60 rear and Dana 44 front any suggestions, also a good place in Washington state to aguire a set of axles thank you.

Answer:

That's going to be pretty unique. Don't see many scouts running full width. I don't know the area, but ask around and find the closest junkyard for the axles. I'm guessing if you're going full width, this isn't any DD. Mud bogging? Rock Clawing? or Just a trail toy? If you're doing really hardcore stuff a 60 up front would be a better choice. 14 bolt is a little stronger than a 60 rear. 44/60 should do you fine for most stuff.
