I know during the late 1800's or early 1900's gigantic farm machinery was in use. However, I'm having trouble finding information about it online. When I say big I mean like house sized machinery that moved to take care of huge fields. Know where I can find any information on this?
I think you are mistaken about the size. From what I've seen on cable and various museums, steam and later gasoline farm implements were very modest in size. But, you are welcome to keep looking.
where you can see a tractor from Port Huron. I saw one operating at a tractor show in N. Georgia just a couple of months ago. Still works and worked a farm until about 1985
