it's halogens... can't be alkali metals or transition metals because group 2a metals and alkali metals and transition metals all usually have positive charges, so they don't attract to each other, and noble gases are mostly unreactive.
noble gases are non reactive alkali metals will not react with other metals nor will transition metals answer:halogens
