im lookng for some good grindcore death and brutal death metal bands i know dying fetus, six feet under, disavowed, napalm death, cannibal corpse and nasum.please no melodic death/black, black, ghotic, doom metal
Folk and power metal. I mean I'm a dork, but I'm not that big of a dork. Putting on a kilt and playing a hurdy-gurdy while someone chugs away at a recycled Gothenburg riff and sings about mead and slaying the Midgard Serpent over an oom-pah rhythm doesn't make your band innovative. Or cool. BQ: Does The View count? If not, take your pick out of Six Feet Under's Graveyard Classics collection or anything under the ignominious banner of pirate metal.
Death metal. Aside from a few bands it all sounds generic to me.

Brutal Death Metal and Grindcore. I find it immature and generic, there's no rhythm to it, the structures are hard to follow and the music is way too repetitive, there's much much much better Death Metal out there. Raw Black Metal Poorly produced music nuff said, much much much better Black Metal out there. Glam Metal Boring pop ballads, lame party songs, most of the bands have the same lyrical themes, BQ Too many to name.
