A fourn inch section of the granite resin seam is missing in between my kitchen countertops. Any suggestions on how to fix this section? (This happens to been my prefered work surface area so it gets tons of use)

Don't let your cat out at night. I know from personal experience that this is not always possible to get a cat in if they're out during the day, but it is the easiest way to keep your cat safe at night. Cats get hit by cars even when it's bright and sunny out so lights and reflective gear aren't going to make any difference if a cat suddenly darts out into the road. If anything, seeing some glowing thing running around in the dark is likely to freak people out.
