It could just be natural discharge as the eyes lubricate themselves.but if there is pain or discomfort with the green discharge you could have pink eye.have you gotten anything in your eye lately irritants like soap eyelashes or any kind of fibers from a blanket animal or clothing can cause irritation and discharge.go to the dr if your concerned its best to get checked out anyways.better safe then sorry I always say
