Question:

Group 2 and group 1 metals?

Why are group 2 metals harder and why do they have higher melting points than group 1 metals?

Answer:

They're Nu-Metal. A lot of metal heads don't really like Nu-metal. Including me. Lol. Nu-Metal will always be looked as poser metal to extreme metal heads.
If you consider nu metal metal, then yes. I agree with the folks that keep telling you they are not real metal.
They are most widely considered Nu Metal - which technically IS a type of metal but many fans of more original Thrash/Heavy metal usually do not consider nu metal real metal because of the more commercial friendly structure of the songs. But personally I'd consider them Metal - even if I'm not too into them myself.
Nah. There is a certain spirit to metal that Korn lacks. Just the same, I don't consider Sabbath to be rock.
