Its nice that you are going to purchase a bike for your most awaited ride. I would like to give a good advise for new motorcycle biker to purchase jackets, apparels, motorcycle gears outfits, helmets, gloves, jackets. One should have to check out his budget that one want to spend on these motor gears. and to spend it accordingly which is most likely and fit to their necessitiies requirements. These should be reliable, complete, attractive, make our lives easier in washing them, handling, storing, keep our body warm in winter and make to feel us comfortable in summer. It will give us comfortable safety Thomas Colton
Few motorcyclist only own either/or safety gear. Motorcycling can be a quite expensive undertaking. Personally, I own several pairs of riding boots, gloves, pants and jackets. As I choose to ride year round it is necessary to have gear that will accommodate prevailing conditions as to keep me protected, reasonably comfortable and not distracted. Speaking of Christmas, request gear as Christmas presents, birthday presents, anniversary presents, groundhog day, etc.
If you want to do track days you'll need a one piece suit or a two piece with a zip that goes all the way round. Other than that it's what takes your fancy. A one piece is safer but less convenient if you just use your bike to pop round a mates or to the shops cos you look a bit of a twonk walking round in it. You can pair a leather jacket with Draggin jeans in the summer when it's hot. Oh, and a one piece can look awful if you have a larger frame.
HI DSG! Yes, the extinguisher needs to be brought into a service center and have the unit emptied, cleaned, and recharged. They may re-use some of your chemical in the process. The problem is, if you don't do this, the chemical gets around the oring seals and lets the nitrogen pressure leak out over time. This may happen in as fast as a few days, or could take months, but the unit will lose it's pressure. Then when you need it, it won't work. Take it into a service center and they will tell you if it can be recharged or just needs replaced. Good luck!
The term Riding Suit is a bit of a misnomer, as the suit doesn't really do much for you while riding. The thing it really does is protect you if you fall off the motorcycle, as the suit, with its protective armor and padding protects you from impact and abrasion injuries while you're skidding across the pavement. A one-piece leather riding suit is the best way to go for safety, but not as comfortable or practical for daily use (unless you're a professional motorcycle racer.) If you go with a two-piece suit, don't get lazy and leave the bottoms at home. You'll need to protect your legs and butt as well as your arms and upper torso.
