I danced with a chair at a school dance once. Lovely dancers chairs are.
When I read the first couple of lines of your question, I thought you were quite mad. But then I read the third line - It's a wooden chair. That pretty much explains it all. Wooden chairs have been known to whisper or talk in languages since the beginning of time, though their plastic or metal counterparts haven't yet exhibited this property. It's a well known fact that his personal wooden chair was a source of great inspiration for Mohammed (PBUH) - he was known to carry it on horseback during all those wars he fought. The Lord Jesus was known to hold lengthy discussions with his wooden chairs, some say that one of them, one known simply as 'Woody' was the one actually responsible for Healing the leper at Capernaum. Closer to our times, L.Ron Hubbard normally wrote sitting in his favourite wooden chair, and it is generally believed that the chair was the one whispering all those stories to him, though this fact is disputable as Hubbard also had a talking pen, and a talking hat. So you see, throughout the history of mankind, we have had well documented facts supporting the vocal powers of wooden chairs. Why then, do you doubt yourself? However, it is to be noted, that wooden chairs specifically choose people to talk to them, and those around them with whom the chairs do not wish to speak to, never hear a word. Therefore, be warned that people might cal you mad. But have confidence in yourself, and feel pride in the fact that you come from a long line of wooden-chair-talkers.
