NopeThey are murder on natural fibers.
The aluminium one is lighter and stronger (good if you frequently have it.) The white one is cheaper though and has the specs to do what you want to do (although the aluminium one is faster.)
The aluminum is just the newer modelI have the white one, its plenty fast for what you want it for.
