Has anyone done squats or leg presses?

I know this is in the Wrong section but the diet and fitness is FULL of robots so..Has anyone ever done leg presses or squats? Did it make ur butt bigger or smaller lol??and how many reps or how heavy of weight did you use?? Thanks!!God Bless..Leah

It depends on your stance when doing squats. The wider apart your feet are then the more your glutes will be involved...the closer you stand the more your thighs take over. The same goes for leg press. Also, on leg press the lower you place your feet the less the glutes will be working. For size keep reps between 8-12 for weight loss 15-20 reps.
I've done both. Squats work your butt more than leg presses and they do make it bigger (rounder) but not wider. The girls I know who do squats have great butts. Lunges are great for your butt too. The size you add is muscle so it looks very sculpted. If you want a smaller butt, you have to do more cardio to burn the fat. I used to squat 315 for sets of 10 but I had to cut back the weight because my knees were getting sore.

I do leg presses a lot I do 3 sets of 10. I started at 30lbs now I'm doing 80lbs. and I'm only 100lbs I have noticed a gain in strength in my legs.
Leg press didn't make anything bigger but more muscular. 12 reps -200 lbs
