Question:

Has anyone used Tomahawk T3s on a sportbike? How are they?

I have a 2007 Kawasaki ZX-6R and thinking about purchasing some sticker tires and need some feedback. Thanks!

Answer:

I have purchased the tires two times and both were bad experiences. I bought the red rubber tires back in 2002 and paid a fortune because at the time they were not DOT approved and got held in customs for like 6 months.(At the time the company was still located in england.) Then after i finally got them on my bike they took forever to warm up and never quite got sticky. They came off after about 100 miles. Then I bought the companies slicks about a year ago for track days and again I was disapointed with the amount of grip. They werent even on par with the pilot power street tires I had on previously. I hope this helps you at all. Rides 2002 honda cbr600f4i 2006 kawi zx10r
The Tomahawk motorcycle tire is a remanufactured tire, not new. They don't have higher performance ratings as new, better brand tires do. I owned several sportbikes in the past 10 years. A good quality back tire on a sportbike is very important in many ways. I would opt to spend the extra money on a NEW name brand tire. Stay away from remanufatured tires. I hope this helps
