We all know that just about everything else influences metal but has metal had an influence on pop, country, classical, or any other genre? And if so what artists or songs?

some classic is good e.i: rolling stones, queen, alice cooper- the pioneers of rock basically alternative is my personal favorite metal is a tad obnoxious for my taste
I love classic rock. I used to like metal years ago, probably more pop metal than the real thing. I loved Van Halen, Scorpions, Night Ranger, Randy Rhoads, etc. I also was into Christian metal like Stryper, Whitecross, Shout, Ken Tamplin, etc.
