you ran over a fire hydrant and totaled out your car all because your favorite contact didn't show up on YA?
Yes, it is time to replace the batteries! Please do so now!
I don't think so. I think it indicates a healthy dose of common sense.
No. They are just following the local electric code laws of man.
The other bartender's offences have nothing to do with your situation. Your employer can pretty much fire you for anything or nothing. It sounds like there might be some other violations there that your employers could have some trouble with. If their system of checking for underage drinkers is so haphazard, they could be in trouble with the law. If they aren't giving you the state required breaks, they can be in trouble. If they aren't paying overtime as required or meeting minimum wage requirements, they could be in trouble. If you think you were unfairly terminated, you can sue them in a civil court, but what are you going to get? A bunch of legal bills and your job back? Would you really want to work there after all that? You don't need your employer's permission to file for unemployment. Get yourself down to the unemployment office and file. If your employer denies the claim you can insist on a hearing. This is about you and your relationship with your employer. It doesn't matter what the other employees do, just you. Don't confuse the unemployment issue by bringing in other issues.
As much as saying God or Jesus makes you a believer. bless you.
