Hi Lara, You definitely need to replace the smoke detector. A warm battery tells you the detector is drawing too much current. I change my batteries every spring when the time changes then I save the batteries for other uses because even after being used for a year they are still good but I always change them just to be safe. It isn't worth risking your life with a bad detector. Get a new smoke one. If money is an issue many fire departments will help you. Norm

It's similar to the reason birds can sit on electrical wires and not get shocked. Unless the electrical current can flow to an electrical ground to complete the circuit, it can do no harm.
He isn't coming back. Not only did he left because he wasn't booked right but wrestling has given its toll. After wrestling for so many years his body was battered. CM Punk Did Announce His Retirement From WWE. I don't see him coming back anytime soon or even later. He's gone and people need to deal with it.
