Question:

Heatsink on Bridges VS Copper Silent Pipe Thermal Solution??

okim reading specs on mobos and not veru sure what they meanon one mobo, it says, as thermal solution . Heatsink on north and south bridgeson the other one it says All Copper Silent Pipe and CRAZY COOL ? What does that mean?so what are teh differences and which one would be better?its for a gaming PC?Thank you ;)

Answer:

You need to replace wheel bearing thats it.
its for a gaming PC Better to get a quad core CPU, then. The more cores, the more computing power at the same frequency, and since you have to run at a higher frequency to get the same performance from fewer cores, you get more heat. (Also make sure you have enough RAM - swapping to disk can get you killed in almost every game. 4 Gigs of won't be too much)
If its for a serious Gaming PC you want watercooling, its expensive but if you want to overclock its a must. You probably want a heatsink and fan on north and southbridges as they get very hot. Silent Pipe means it needs no fan it just uses a copper conducting pipe. regards
