Hello, How do you know if your axles are bad?

Answer:

The deal is, BOTH the inertial property AND the net force are each proportional to mass. It is just like free fall.weight is proportional to mass, and inertia is proportional to (or rather is) mass. Hence, all that matters is the weight to inertia ratio, which we call gravitational field. In friction, specifically for a flat surface, Normal force fully opposes weight, and is hence proportional to mass. Friction being proportional to normal force is also proportional to mass. When friction is the only unbalanced force acting on it, it equals the net force.and net force being proportional to mass along with inertia, implies that acceleration is independent of mass. Conclusion: mass DOES play a role in frictional force (not necessarily directly, since if an external agent pushes on the object, it can make N no longer proportional to m). However, mass does not play a role in acceleration due to friction alone, in a situation where only gravity and normal force balance each other perpendicular to direction of motion.
Hai pLaSma, who said so that mass does not play role in getting the frictional force? Of course in getting the coefficient of friction, mass does not interfere. Because coefficient of friction depends on the nature of the two surfaces come into contact. That is denoted by the symbol μ. But while computing the force of friction we use the expression μR. Here R is the reaction which equals to the weight ie Mg. Here M is taken into account More the mass then more the frictional force. Yet μ is independent of M. Frictional force F μ Mg.
first, what kind of vehicle is it?
i assume u mean cv half shafts?? and usually by clicking noise coming form them when u turnbut u can also have them inspected at any shop.and if u do this B4 it starts clicking and the boot has gone bad it can b fixed. btw it is way cheaper on almost every model to buy remaned or new half shafts instead of having the joints rebuilttime+ money
axle on rear clunking, whining, squealing like metal to metal sound, and cv axles would be a binding feeling when turning corners. Edit: maybe tabs on brakes letting you know time to replace pads really is hard to tell could be a million things without seeing it, you know what i mean
