Question:

What is the best clay to use in making a mo hawk head piece to wear outside and in?

Hello: I want to make a mo-hawk head piece out of clay, that I can wear out of the house, and inside the houseI need to know what type of clay I should buy for the projectThe project is going to be way 3D and will be worn outside in public, and Needs to withstand light rain maybe, and not so much dropping or anything, I'll make it securelol I don't have any special heating thing that the more professional people have so I would want a clay that could air dry, or i could put in the oven or something? Anyone want to help me out? Things to consider price (lower would be great): How the clay will dry : If it is water proof and durable to not brake when I walkAnyone help me out: Thank you :)

Answer:

I would guess either making a mold and car body filler or making a rough armature, coating it with car body filler and after it set sanding and cutting the details in.
You need a shallow pan for the cheese cake to stand in! do you have a broiler tray with your oven? this is what I use as water bath! It fits in the oven, and my large springform pan will sit in it nicely with 1 inch of water!
The pan doesn't have to be much bigger than your springformA 9x13 one works.
