I attached my 24 samsung LCD to my sony VAIO and weather its LCD only, Monitor only, or Both my monitor gets fuzzy lines. The lines are all over the computer and are more visible with a darker color on the monitor such as a black background. Please help me get rid of this fuzziness, it is hurting my eyes! Make sure the cable is secure on both the notebook and LCD ends. Try a different VGA cable if you can't get a solid connection between the two. You may want to check your display settings and crank up the resolution on the external monitor as well. I'm sure a 24 LCD can do some good stuff but the graphics adapter in the notebook may not handle it.
