my tire size are front 80/90-21 48hback140/90-15m/c 70hso what are the numbers that matter when lookng to buy tires? i have a 1998 suzuki intruder 800 thanks in advance

Answer:

Well ideally all of them, you want to get ones that match the current specs so they fit properly.
Hello Normally you have 140-90/15 m/c 70 h 140 width of tyre 140 mm 90 depth of tyre by % of width so 140 X 90% 126 mm 15 to fit 15 inch rim m/c I suspect denotes a Motor Cycle tyre rather than a trailer one 48 denotes Max Safe load rating. 180 Kgs 70 denotes Max Safe load rating. 335 Kgs h Speed Rating. Tested and Certified to 130 MPH Andy C 70 I doubt that is the Maximum speed as the bike is designed to get up to about 65-70 MPH I would suspect the indicator on these wheels would bt the h
They are all important, all the numbers mean something.
