I have a 1999 chevy S10 mini blazer, and I can‘t get reid of the check engine n the ABS n pass anger light off.I repaired everything and gave it a good tune up n replaced the brakes n what ever else needed to be fix.But those lights won‘t go offI did the battery thing, n the engine light went off.But just for three hours, the other two never went off???HELP I NEED MY TRUCK TO PASS SMOG!!!!
The check engine light comes on whenever there is a computer fault or multiple faults. You need to go to auto-zone or oriellys and have them pull the codes for free. Ones you know what fault codes there are, then you can actually fix the problem. It's probably an oxygen sensor fault of some type, since it takes 3 hours to come back. Could also be an intermittent engine miss, or it's related to the fuel tank evap system. Go get the codes, then you will know what to fix.
