Question:

Help on System Administrator options for Windows Vista?

I want to uninstall the HP Total Care Adviser and the HP Help and Support but when I click uninstall, it loads for a while but then it stops and the Windows Installer says The system administrator has set policies to prevent the installation so I click OK. Then another window pops up and says You do not have sufficient access to uninstall HP Total Care Advisor. Please contact your system adminitrator but I AM the administrator! I tried doing the same thing for the HP Help Support but the same windows pop up.Where can i find the Administrative Tools and where do i go for the un-installation options.I have a HP Compact Presario laptop.I use Windows Vista.

Answer:

What you should do is to stop panicking and remain calm. I'm sure your dad is running late right now for whatever the reasons. But he will come pick you up. I don't know where you at right now, but you should go do something to kill time. It seems like you able to access the internet, so I suggest that you go on YouTube to watch videos or something. If you know your dad's phone number, then go knock on the neighbor next door to borrow their phone for a second to call your parents because you can't contact them. But don't go their house. Stand outside and call. Because they are strangers. Don't ever go in stranger house.
do you have internet inside? send him or someone who has his number a message on facebook etc. about your situation. where are you anyway? not at home?
I believe that with some emails you can text a phone number from an email? It will send as an email, but receive as a text. they won't be able to respond to you, but you should still be able to tell them what's going on
There are consumer reviews of your car - try reading through them and you may find your answer ) Good luck!
