help with car lock problems?

ok so its cold out and we've had some problems with it freezing shutnow that we got it unfrozen a few days ago we cant get the lock to unlock. it shows that it unlocks but does not truly unlock. im thinking its frozen. we can get the key in and turn it. the lock part on the inside of the car risesbut i dont hear it unlock. any other ideas? it may not be the lock but could be the latch alsoi hate winter

The power door lock actuator/module isn't a mechanical connection. The module probably has a short. The alarm is connected to the door module so the alarm could be a result of the short. If it was me I'd get a wedge in the door and take a stiff rod , a car antennae is good, and hit the power lock button and get inside the car and check fuse 41. If it's blown put another one in and see if the doors unlock. If it blows again start looking for a short.
