I wonder if anyone could help me with any special tools I might need when removing wheels on motorbikes to change the Tyre‘s for instance on my Suzuki if I want to remove the front wheel I have a bolt and two nuts that fits into the socket of the axle shaft to remove it and I wonder if anyone knew of any other situations that standard tools simply are not enough.thanks
well you need tire tools to remove the tire from the wheel they make the one that have a protective cover so they don't scar the wheel try online denis kirk if you looking to buy them. or any other tire or motorcyctel supply store.
It depends on how much tread is left on the used tires. How old are they, any checkering etc. I would buy the cheap new ones. They may have some guarantee with them.
Standard tools should be good enough. The only tools you'll need are tire tools and a bead breaker.Sometimes you don't even need the breaker.I have a giant vice i use as a bead breaker.
Even Harbor Freight sells tire replacing gear. The crisis is available in while the tire has been at the motorcycle for a few years and the sidewalls are stiff and the bead does not holiday effortlessly and oh I would pass on and on. New tires are convenient, the rubber is tender and pliable. Then of direction there may be the balancing challenge. I pick mine to be electronically balanced because it makes a greater steadiness than static balancing. But that's a private alternative.
