I like the way the Jeep Grand Cherokee looks with mud tires I just don‘t want to damage my transmission. How bad do mud tires damage transmissions? Would they still damage it if i got 14 inch rims with 26 or 27 inch mud tires? my Jeep has 28 inch tires stock
Properly sized tires will not damage your vehicle no matter what type of tire they are. Mud tires will not cause any damage as long as they are the correct size for your vehicle. I don't know who told you that certain tires will damage your vehicle, but as long as they are the correct size one type of tire will not cause any more or less damage or wear than another. That's transmission, suspension, or any other component.
