Question:

How Big is a Queen Size Bed?

How big is a queen size bed in relation to a double bed and a King Size bed? Is it the same size as a double, or is it basically just a King Size?

Answer:

Twin - 39 x 54 Full - 54 x 75 Queen - 60 x 80 King - 76 x 80 California King - 72 x 84
Double/Full 54×75 in (137×203 cm) Queen 60×80 in (152x203 cm) King 76×80 in (193×203 cm) Doubles are shorter and not as wide. The difference between a queen and king is the king is wider.
King Size = 76 x 80 Queen Size = 60 x 80 Full/Double = 54 x 75 King and Queen mattresses are the same length, but with a king you get another 16 in width. Full/Double mattresses are six inches more narrow and five inches shorter than a queen.
