How can digital multimeter measure color ring resistance value?
In general, you can read the approximate resistance directly from the color of the ring, then adjust the digital multimeter to the corresponding gear.
If a 20K file shows resistance by 87, it is 87 ohms, may not be 87 thousand euro or megohm, because this file can measure 20 thousand largest in Europe, if the resistance is 87 thousand euro or 87 megohm, measured by the 20K file, that is out of range...... It wouldn't be 87 cents, and 87 cents would be 0.087 in the 20K file, but only 2 decimal places were estimated
The number written on the meter is the maximum resistance that can be measured under the gear. The value shown is definitely smaller than the indicated value.
