Beautiful day, but my motorcycle tire went flat in the garage.I can‘t tow it or ride it to fill it up, so how can I get my tire filled?
The first thing to do is find out why it went flat, it could be that it simply needs a foot pump and ten minutes pedalling to pump it up, anyone with a mountain bicycle should have a pump that will fit your valves. Alternatively it might have a puncture, so look for foreign objects in the tyre, so will not hold any pressure, you either need to replace the tyre or repair it, in which case remove the wheel, hop on a bus and get it replaced or repaired.
Hand pump, compressed air can: fix-a-flat with the hiose designed for use on motorcycle tires. I carry one on Goldwing for road service if needed- used twice. Portable air tank- locally they are $25.00 to $35.00 and couple shops will loan out with deposit, expectation is you'll ride into their shop for the full repair. Harbor freight sell a 12 volt small airpump for $19.95- I've used one on car tires and the Honda cm400 front tire. Doesn't fit into little Yamaha scooter tire valve but that is a very tight fit for most air hoses anyway.
If you don#x27;t know someone with a air pump or air compressor or portable air tank or a pickup truck or a trailer(quite a few options there) then just remove whatever wheel it is and take it somewhere and fill it up. Taking a front wheel off is pretty easy and a rear is easy as well but be careful to count threads on your axle adjusters. Where there#x27;s a will theres a way! Especially when it comes to motorcycles and a nice day. Hey that rhymes!
