ok so I had a small system in my blazer but decided i wanted to upgrade. so i had my alternator rebuilt and its working ok. but at idle which when warmed up is about 600 rpms it doesnt charge that well. i asked the guy who rebuilt my alt and he said that can happen with the rebuilt parts and there isnt much he can do. so idle is 600 and it sits and about 12v not so good for amps and subs. as soon as i go up to 800 or 900 rpms it immediately hits a strong 14.5v so is there any simple way that doesn't involve messing with the fuel injection that i can bump up my idle. A friend said maybe mess with the accelerator cable?
Mean Cat - this makes a change! When I was young I always wanted a German Shepherd Dog and in my early 20's I adopted an 18 month old German Shepherd and he used to chase cats. Like most German Shepherds he chased anything that moved. I never really gave cats much thought but over the last 40 years I've had 6 Shepherds and my wife loves cats! She's rescued them or they were unwanted kittens. What's the point you may ask? Well believe it or not, the German Shepherds have always got on well with the cats, be them young or old. We've had 3 GSD and 3 or 4 cats, at present we've got an adopted 7 year old German Shepherd, and 2 adult cats plus a rescued cat that had kittens so 1-GSD + 5 cats. Cats and dogs do get on given time and a proper introduction. Your cat will be put out at first because she has ruled the roost! Introduce a dog, and I'm sure you will find your cat will change her behaviour and become more sociable and learn some manners - behaviour adjustment to curb her aggression is called for. As it's going to be your first dog and you're young, then a spaniel would probably fit the bill.
Well, first, if they are fogging up that usually means they don't fit well and you should probably look to getting a pair that fits properly. As for the fogging, that can often be fixed by spitting on the inside and rubbing it around to coat (sounds stupid but it works), you can use vinegar to do the same thing, or you can use commercial products like Rain X.
