Well, My mom bought me one for safety reasons, and i already had to use it. But i noticed that after i used it, i coudent use it anymore because there wasnt anymore pressure in the tank, but there was still leftover chemical in the tank. is it possible for me to recharge me tank at home, or do i have to go to the store? i dont want to have to pay for it so yeah -_-I was also wondering if i could rifill the tank with water when its all used up?thanks for the help
This might sound a little funny but when I was younger we had a pit bull that chew all her toys up, just like what you're going through with your lab. But if you gave that dog a stuffed animal (we used to win her things out of the crane machines, lol) she would not chew it apart. She would carry them around, sleep with them, bring them to us to play fetch. It was pretty funny. Maybe try that??
You need a crimping tool to crimp the little sliding piece. Call a local plumber and ask to borrow one. It takes much more force than you can do with ordinaly household tools.
I wouldn't mount the extinguisher in the boot. It'll take a long time to reach it in case you have a fire and thus probably render it useless. I'd mount it somewhere on the floor of the shotgun seat where it is not in the way too much. If you're worried about looks that might even give your car a sporty touch - at least I think it does. I agree with the recommendation of 1.5lbs or maybe even a 2lbs dry powder extinguisher.
They make toys out of fire hose material in all different shapes and sizes, they are at my local pet store. They're supposed to take a beating pretty well. I'd give something like that a try. Here are some of them: images.google.ca/images?hlenqf
