Question:

How can I coax my friend into telling the truth?

Recently, three of my friends came over for a sleep over: Olivia, Rayann and Jorie. I have a bookshelf that had a PlayStation controller and three Xbox games on it and they all went missing. I have valid reasons to believe it was Jorie who took the items. 1. Jorie's family is not financially stable.2. She brought me some paint from school that she stole and put it on THAT specific shelf (I have full intentions on bringing it back on Monday)3. I confronted her about it then she went in denial saying I'd never do that and friends don't do that to each other trying to sound as innocent as possible.4. She's the only one with gaming counsels out of the three5. I was on my bed and couldn't see her but she was on the floor checking out other things on my shelf such as my movies.I called my other friends whom both said they didn't take it, and they didn't seem at all suspicious. They too believe Jorie was the one to take the items.

Answer:

You are either burning way too many directly under the detector or your detectors are too sensitive. If the candles are not near the detectors then see if there is a sensitivity dial or switch. If not, get a new unit. A candle should not be able to set them off unless it is directly under the unit. They also make a smokeless wax for candles. They cost a lot more, have to come from a true candle store not the folks down the street doing business from their kitchen.
A half helmet is not a helmet it's a motorcycle hat. A 3/4 helmet isn't much better. The only helmet that will protect your face is a full face helmet. Leather isn't much armor against a guardrail, a sign post or a 3000lb steel car. Guys who race often lay their bikes down, slide for 200' on track and unobstructed dirt, then pick up their bikes and continue racing. You odds of survival go way up when you don't wreck into something. Riding a motorcycle is life or death. You should take it seriously. In 35 years of riding I scratched my knee once. But I have dodged a hundred bullets. Hardly a day goes by when some chick on a cell phone doesn't try to kill me. Being in the right isn't enough. You have to be hyper aware on a motorcycle and ride as if the world is out to get you. Too bad you bought a bike with no acceleration or agility to get you away from problems. A harley 883 has nearly the worst power to weight ratio of any bike, a glacerial 14.95 sec 1/4 mile, and to say it has ok agility for a cruiser is like saying that Moe has ok intelligence for a Stooge. Compared to scooters and other harleys the 883 is ok, compared to real motorcycles it is a slug.
