I have this control panel with a bunch of lights and switches on it, i want to use it to control my animatronic haunted house show, but i don't want to run 25 feet of cable with 25 wires inside. I would prefer TCP/IP control. So basically I need some kind of digital I/O ethernet board thingfor cheap of course. It would need to be bi-directional because I need to recieve signals to control the lights on the panel, and then send signals to control the show itself.Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction. I know these things exist because i have seen them commercially in machines, but I want something that doesn't cost $500, maybe made by a computer genius guy who makes their own circuit boards.
On youTube I saw a ton of 'How-To' vids for Christmas light set ups. There are probably some control panels mentioned that you could incorporate for your purposes .
