i have a 2000 ford expedition eddie bauer edition and my air suspension compressor is vibrating and sounding bad when it goes off and i noticed that previous owner converted the back already to coil springs so i would like to take the compressor out but i need to know if my vehicle has the airbag suspension in the front as well.
Take a peek under the front suspension and look for the bags. It may have come with an air suspension system that didn't employ air bags but used air shocks instead. You shouldn't toy with this OEM system unless you want to do an airbag conversion, which would eliminate the unreliable air ride shocks. Take it in to get this checked, it'll be cheaper to fix it than to do an airbag upgrade.
NO ur truck does not. they only put air-suspension on the rear of vehicles from the factory.only way to get all 4 wheels would be to do aftermarket kit with airbagswhich would be visible when u looked under the car.
