How can I get my hair like this?

Answer:

Alarms should not be mounted in the kitchen or bathroom for the reason you experience. Nor should they be mounted near exterior windows and doors. Bad cooks will set off alarms. Alarms are to wake you up at night if smoke is detected. Our code requires alarms in each bedroom and hallways and living room. Kitchens and baths are exempt. I added one in my garage. Alarms operate via photoelectric or ionization detection. Too much of any foreign material will interrupt the detector sensor and trip the alarm.
I know what you should have .. comfortable shoes , because you will be running to get what he needs till you know how to use tools and what to do with them
A multi-meter (I usually keep both a digital and analog meter for different situations), voltage tester (one that can 'clamp' onto a wire), it also doesn't hurt to have a polarity checker to quick test receptacles. Wire strippers/cutters/crimpers. Soldering iron/gun and/or a small torch. Standard tools - screwdrivers (phillips/flat blade), needle-nose pliers/regular pliers and/or vice-grips, a small hammer (when all else fails!), possibly a set of allen wrenches/torx heads, or a screwdriver set that includes these). A good cordless drill (plenty of bits/hole-saws, and a spare battery pack), possibly a set that includes a reciprocating saw and/or circular saw (it's amazing how much non-electrical stuff electricians end up having to get involved in - especially in renovations or retrofits). Other safety equipment includes: Work gloves (of course) Safety glasses. Hard hat (depending on work environment). They also make work boots specifically for electricians - they will have a green line around the sole showing where they are isolated (preventing electricity from going to ground should you accidentally touch something). Harnesses/etc. if you are going to be working high off the ground. Again - a lot of this depends on the job you are doing, you don't want to drag around a lot of extra junk unnecessarily, but it's amazing how often tossing a few extra tools in the truck is a godsend when things don't go as planned (i.e. the drywall guy gets there before you do).
