I want to start a business of little clay figures and I like the idea of paper clayI just want to make it more translucent for a porcelain type finish like I can achieve with polymer claysI was thinking about mixing the paper clay with small quantities of my personal polymer clay mix but I'm not sure if that'll workThank you!
Glad you like the idea of paper clay - but that is basically an opaque materialHow much translucent paper have you seen? Polymer clay is plastic and translucent is basically clear plastic working to overcome the situation that fine particles tend to make things opaqueYou can try mixing - you may have a brilliant material - but baking paper inside PVC plastic doesn't seem a good thing to me.
