Question:

how can i protect the bottom of my car from scratches or tearing up my bumpers?

I have a 1991 pontiac firebird and it is very close to the ground. when i go over speed bumps, i have to go on them at an angle, but you can still hear it get scratched. i heard there are certain protectors that go underneath the car but i dont know what they are called or how much they cost.

Answer:

It is recommended that extinguishers are replaced after 12 years as at that time they are required to undergo a hydro test and the cost of this and refilling and servicing out ways the cost of a new extinguisher meeting todays standards.
REMEMBER ONE IMPORTANT THING. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! IS SAFETY EQUIPMENT SOMETHING YOU REALLY WANT TO BE CHEAP ON??
MY corvette has the same issue. be very careful, always avoid potholes (the do worse to the suspension) go under 20 mph for most bumps, lowerthan the psoted speed for others. go extremely slow over parking lot humpsthey hit my exhaust over 5mphdrive slow over bumps etc let her rip on the flat and open highway!
