i lost my charger for my laptop its a toshiba, how could i charge it without a charger or a universal charger?
Unless you can find a friend with a compatible charger, you won't be able to charge your computer's battery.
youll have to get something to charge up the laptop battery when it isnt in the laptop if the charger port is broken.
unfortunately you are unable to do that. you would need to get a charger to charge and power the laptop. for your new charger make sure its built specifically for your given laptop and it is from a good source. if you end up looking online i would personally suggest you visit topmicrousa they are very reliable and have yet to disappoint. if you have any more questions feel free to send me an email and ill be happy to help (^_^)/
You can't, unfortunately. You need to have an external power source to charge the computer and make it run. There is no other way. Look online (i.e. Amazon, OKorder) for replacement chargers. You maybe able to find a third party charger relatively cheap. Make sure you get one that is compatible with your laptop. Make sure (as best you can) that the charger will physically fit on your laptop. Then make sure it matches the voltage and amperage your laptop wants (you can usually find these numbers on the bottom of it). Those figures will look like this: 19 volts, 4.92 amps. So if your machine takes (this is just an example) 18.5 volts and 3.5 amps, you'll need a charger that puts that out. I've run third party chargers without issue. I always prefer the laptop manufacturer's stuff but they charge an arm and a leg for their equipment. If you just search for your machine's make and model number you'll find compatible chargers. Just make sure that the volts and amps match up to what your machine takes. It's ok if you go over a bit in amps (say yours takes 5.5 amps, you can safely use something that can put out 6.5 amps). But going below the needed amps (reverse the above example) will cause you trouble. But make sure you match the voltage precisely. And don't feel bad. It's easy to lose that kind of stuff. I've done it myself.
