Haynes manual said to do this if the a/c is not engaging but does not give any details.
I think that would work relly good
Pull the 2 wire connector off the fitting near the round aluminum container and put a jumper wire between the 2 wiring connectors inside the plug.That will bypass the pressure switch as you asked.
