How do I disable the daytime running lights in a 1996 Chevy Corsica?
Once upon a time on Tralfamadore there were creatures who weren't anything like machinesThey weren't dependableThey weren't efficientThey weren't predictableThey weren't durableAnd these poor creatures were obsessed by the idea that everything that existed had to have a purpose, and that some purposes were higher than othersThese creatures spent most of their time trying to find out what their purpose wasAnd every time they found out what seemed to be a purpose of themselves, the purpose seemed so low that the creatures were filled with disgust and shameAnd, rather than serve such a low purpose, the creatures would make a machine to serve itThis left the creatures free to serve higher purposesBut whenever they found a higher purpose, the purpose still wasn't high enoughSo machines were made to serve higher purposes, tooAnd the machines did everything to expertly that they were finally given the job of finding out what the higher purpose of the creatures could beThe machines reported in all honesty that the creatures couldn't really be said to have any purpose at allThe creatures thereupon began slaying each other, because they hated purposeless things above all elseAnd they discovered that they weren't even very good at slayingSo they turned that job over to the machines, tooAnd the machines finished up the job in less time than it takes to say, Tralfamadore.
Slick Dhas the correct answer, and it was voted downWake up! The '96 Corsica does not have a DRL relayMounted near the right of the lower steering column(under the instrument panel), there exists a diode assemblyThe assembly looks like bone-marrow surrounded by a heatsink (aluminum fins shaped into a rectangle)You can disconnect the connectorI, a GM technician, do not know if opening that circuit will affect the low beam headlampsI have never had that request put to me and, honestly, have never needed to know; now , I am curiousLet us know what happensPeace.
1Transportation machines (cars, trains, planes, trucks, etc.) make living away from your place of employment easier, and living away from your source of food Without them, how close would you have to be to walk, ride a horse, etcto go to work or get your food? 2Communication machines (phones, computers, TVs/radios etc.) make it easier and faster to send recieve information 3Industrial machines (the assembly lines in car factories, construction equipment, etc.) make building things a lot faster more economical (hope that's what you wanted)
