I dont quite get the process of getting neutrons/electrons/protons for a element.Aluminum atomic mass is 27, the atmoic number is 13, so the number of protons should be 13 and electrons? but that only equals 13, and i have no understanding on how to get neutrons
the atomic mass number of protons + neutrons the atomic number number of protons so all you have to do is subtract the atomic number from the atomic massAlso the number of electrons is equal to the number of protons unless the atom has a positive or negative charge So Aluminum has 14 neutrons.
