How do i make a pyramid out of air dry clay.without putting inside a kiln?
You make it hollow, supporting it on an aluminum foil shape for uniform wall thickness and air dry clay is NEVER put in a kiln because it has binders that will burn out at kiln temps and doesn't contain the right mix of clays for vitrificationIt is called air dry because it dries in the air and you have to control the thickness and drying speed to keep it from cracking
I thought that was about 90 years agoThe French did not like it because it was being built on one of the last open areas in Paris, and it was considered uglyBut then in WW1 the French used it as a radio tower and received word that the Germans were advancing on ParisSince they were warned they held the citySo after that they appreciated itNow, it has come to represent the French, and they are actually quite proud of it.
Corsair is rightThe Eiffel Tower was initially very unpopular in FranceI forget which famous writer was quoted as saying that he liked going to the top of the tower, since that's one of the few places in Paris wherein you can see much of the city without seeing the tower itself! And a group of authors, painters, and miscellaneous other members of the Parisian intelligentsia actually created and signed a petition to have it taken townHowever, the expression That was then, this is now springs to mindThe tower has come to symbolize not only Paris, but France itselfAnd let's not forget that many French tourists visit every year as wellFor people from the French countryside making their first-ever trip to the capital, Paris is probably almost as exotic as it is to foreign visitors, and the Eiffel Tower would obviously be on their must see list, just as with foreign visitors.
