How do i make a really simple bowl to smoke pot?
Drives get lots hotter when they are seeking/reading/writingIf it is just spinning it won't likely get hot enough to fail, though heat is an accelerating factor in reliability so it might wear out faster long term If you are using XP, maybe you could config the a power profile that turns off the hard drives after a couple of hoursIt might not turn the drive back on until you actually try to write to itYou can feel if it is running to check.
