m not talking about a door lock built into that doorknob. It's kind of like the door lock Peter Parker used in The Amazing Spiderman. The new one.. If anyone can help me figure out how that works and the parts I need then that would be a big help. suggestions are also appreciated. The remote would probably be better if it was a small one/two button remote. And if there would be some parts that i could takw from any toy that would be great. Thanks!
There should be a procedure in the manual. If not, you should have paid attention when the installer told you what to do when you got the alarm. If the previous two items do not apply, then try to find the valet switch; it should be a little push button thingy under the driver side dash. Now put the key in the ignition, and set it to ACC, the position just before it turns the starter. Now push and hold the valet switch until the LED on top of the (steering column, dash, where ever they put it) turns to a solid red. This is the factory reset settings. You may still need to take it in to get it to function fully, but it should respond to the remote now. Another way is to disconnect the main power for about 2 minutes. Just pull the harness off the positive (red) terminal on the battery.
Let it sink. I wouldn't take this project if you gave it to me. Rubber sheets? What is going to happen is you are going to buy this rusted junk. It is going to sink, then the coast guard is going to come find you and make you pay. The fines will be more that what you paid for the barge. It sounds like this thing needs to be made into razor blades. Good luck. When this thing sinks make sure there is no fuel in it.
