How do I replace worn out suspension system in my car?
the reason for a intake is to let more air flow in to the engine which givemore oxygen to gaswhich mean less gas is need to make ur engine fire so udont have to acclerate as hard to u may gain more hp which make ur car reach max torque fast for more so lets say u do to in 8 secs with the intake u may do it in 7.5 secs with a icrease of 15- 25 hp
Start by giving us an idea of what you are working on. Not all vehicles are the same.
Depends on what you are working on, old cars are pretty simple, newer ones are gonna cause a few headaches. You will need tools, some specialized for the job. Also, get yourself a Chiltons or Haynes manual for you vehicle. They will walk you through step by step with pictures and list the tools needed. Almost all of the tools you can borrow from Autozone. Just pay a deposit and take the tool. As long as you bring it back, you get your full deposit back. And you are gonna need LOTS of patience (and some beer maybe). Also, depending on what peices you are replacing, you will have to have the car re-aligned after you are done which is not something you can do in your garage. Not properly anyway. Depending on how close you are to the nearest shop to do that, you may have to have the car towed unless you can get it close enough to not destroy your tires. Get the manual, best $20 you will spend on your car if you are just learning to turn wrenches.
depends on the type of car you have but most likely you will need to rent coil spring compressors for the front strut and a few wrenches to remove the bolts that connect them. Raise the car to let the struts/shocks to release, compress the springs and be sure the tool is secure before doing anything else, then remove the bolts that hold the struts in place. The backs are easy, just remove the bolts holding them in. Replace in the same order you removed.
