Question:

How do I suspend glitter in resin without it sinking to the bottom of the mold?

I recently have been having issues with mica flakes and some types of glitter sinking to the bottom of the mold before my resin jewelry pieces set. This has ruined a few of my pieces and I'm wasting quite a bit of materials when I need to recast them. Is there any way I can have the glitter or mica flakes mixed into the resin without it settling to the bottom? Would allowing the resin to firm up slightly before mixing in glitters and pouring work?

Answer:

I have seen them go off from steam before. Any way you could move it a few feet farther away?
I go to the bathroom with the door open, I have my conversations with myself real loud and I could blast my songs as loud as I want. I could do whatever basically. :)
there might be some dust in the alarm get some air in the can and blow the dust out
