I just got an HDMI cable to hook up my computer to my TV. My TV is a Panasonic 42 720P HD Plasma TV and my laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1525. When I plug the cable into both the computer and TV, after I turn the input to HDMI 1 nothing happens. I have it set for computer so I don't really know what the problem is. Is there a setup I need to do? Or am I doing something wrong?
Have you trie turning it to a different channel setting thing, like how you play them with game stations an such? Hope it helps.
Is the cable plugged into HDMI 1 port? Some TV's have more then one. Try this: Control PanelAll Control Panel ItemsDisplay Then click 'Connect to a projector' In: Control PanelAll Control Panel ItemsDisplayScreen Resolution You can change the settings of each screen.
