put in neighborhoods? Our posted speed limit for our street (which is full of culdesacs and children playing) is 20mph. Cars consistently go more than 5 over the speed limit which puts kids at risk who might be walking to school or playing after schoolnot to mention I have almost been hit a few time while walking my dog! I want to know where to start with this issuewho do I contact? We have tried to have the police patrol it but they can only sit here for so longany ideas??

The Pledge fabric sweeper should do the trick. This thing is fantastic. It is about $4.00, hand held and picks up cat hair better than a vacuum cleaner or tape.
Exactly who would be monitoring the thousands of pebbles that would be required - since they would necessarily have short range - and who would figure out which signals were from passing donkeys, which from people digging a quicky hole to **** in, and which were from someone planting a roadside bomb?
This happened to my brother earlier this year. He grabbed his cell phone, his wife grabbed two photo albums and her purse, his oldest child was still clutching a security blanket and the other was still clutching a Snoopy doll. They couldn't find their cat at the time, but she was later found alive and returned to them at our family home. As for me, I don't have a spouse or children and still live at our family home, but of course I'd save my own cat. As far as non-living things, my sister-in-law had the right idea.
