How do Windshield Wipers Work?
Utilizing friction, and motion, the rubber blade, for all intents and purposes scrapes the water off of the windshield without causing the windshield any harm. When the rubber begins to deteriorate, ripping, shredding, or weakening, the wiper fails to scrape all the water off, leaving moisture on the windshield and impairing visibility.
