I have always cleaned my silver in the kitchen sinkFill the sink with very hot water, and place a piece of aluminum foil the size of the sink in itAdd 2T baking soda and 2T salt to the mixtureMix it with a big spoon if it's too hot to do it with your handPut one silver piece at a time in the sink and let it soak for five minutesDry it immediately with a soft towelIf you still see spots, rub them with a paste of baking soda and water, rinse and dry againThen do the next pieceTry to keep the tea set wrapped when you are not using or displaying it so you don't have to clean it frequently.
Buy Tarnish or silver polish from hardware stores and u're done.
If you have water going inside the spring form pan, wrap the bottom of the pan with single large sheet of aluminum foil so it comes up the side of the pan, and out of the water.
